Kostia Areena, the Pälkäne sports centre, was completed in August 2018. The centre address is Kehätie 1, located next to the Pälkäne high-school, and opposite the main Ark library.
The Kostia Areena's halls have an excellent and modern setting, especially for the enjoyment of various types of sports. Fitness facilities are suitable for both weight-training and cardio enthusiasts. When training, enjoy views of the lovely landscape through the large, panoramic windows.
With its excellent location, the Kostia Areena is easily accessible from different directions. It is located just off the E12 highway, within easy reach from Hämeenlinna and Valkeakoski. There is also a free spacious parking area, catering for cars as well as team coaches during major events.

At the Areena entrance area, visitors can enjoy refreshments at the Tauko café, operated by high school students interested in entrepreneurship. The café is open on weekdays from 10am to 7pm, and on weekends accrording to event requirements. If changes in the cafes operation happen, it will be informed in their Facebook-site. There is also a small refreshment outlet in the Lukko Hall side, open according to event requirements.
The Areena gym is open on weekdays, monday to friday, from 6 am to 8 pm. The Luopioinen gym is open during weekdays, monay to friday, opening 7 am and closing 8 pm. The opening and closing hours might get changed during August 2020.
Everyone using the gym must follow guidelines set by THL about hygiene and safety perimetres to keep everyone safe and healthy.
The access to Areena is limited during weekends, to keep the required cleanliness of Areena.
