The Collaborative Services system is a way of providing central government services in a local environment. The collaborative service is based on cooperation and voluntary agreement between municipalities and state authorities. The collaborative service includes the receipt and delivery of documents, advice on initiating and processing documents and support for the use of electronic services. Cooperation between municipal and state service providers can provide versatile and high quality services as close to local residents as possible.
Remote services allows access to government services via direct videoconferencing or workstation conferencing software. In practice, the customer can use videoconferencing at a community service point, with the authority representative in another locality, cutting down on travel time and costs, as well as missed appointments.
