Pälkäne people are village people. Here, we live in villages, and gather and celebrate in the villages. Even the church of the centre has its own name - Onkkaaala. In the summertime especially, summer cottage visitors liven up the village landscape. Summer may be the peak time of village events, but it's not quiet in Winter either.
