The municipality of Pälkäne offers 2 weeks of paid work experience during the summer period, working in the municipality's own units.
It also supports young people finding their own employment in local companies and organisations. All summer job vacancies are available via the kuntarekry.fi site.
The application period for the summer work is during March-April, with the dates being announced in the local Sydän-Häme newspaper and also in the schools.
Summer jobs are implemented in June and August, and successful applicants are entitled to a two-week employment period.
