Other Clubs and Family Activities

Other activities are organised for families with young children in cooperation with the municipality, parish and MLL - please see the weekly list of events here (in Finnish)

MLL family café - Mondays (9:00 - 12:00)

The family café operates at the Pirtti Family Centre, Keskustie 1, and is open to all families. The MLL family café is operated in the most part by volunteers, and is a great place to get to know new people with families, in a cozy environment. Parents can chat while still being able to keep an eye on the children as they have fun together. The café provides parents with support, information and opportunities and can be a nice place to unwind and see other adults, discuss family joys and worries, and even put the world to rights over a cup of coffee!

Mommy café - Thursdays (9:00 - 12:00)

The Mommy café operates at the Pirtti Family Centre, Keskustie 1, and is organised by the municipality's family services group. It is designed for families with small children, and grandparents are welcome too, with their grandchildren. Other older people can also come for coffee and a chat, and meet the younger generation and share their experiences. For each gathering, there is usually a theme that can be used to discuss and share thoughts within the group. For more information about the Mamma café activities and topics, please contact the local family worker - Reija Siitoselta, p. 050 5627 927.
